It is an Ancient Prehistoric Dry River.
In the present day ;
Wadi Al Makamen
Located ;
Near Sloug , 50 Km From Benghazi

Thnx anglo 4 ur coment , However beside the rain , there is a man made channel connecting the Wadi to GMRA storage reservior of Sloug for water disposal when it is flooded .
